What is MAT?
MAT is Medication-Assisted Treatment that uses FDA-approved medications, along with counseling and recovery support, to treat substance use disorders in a safe and effective way.
Medications include buprenorphine (Suboxone®) and naltrexone (Vivitrol®), depending on an individual's needs and clinical assessment.
